I really love my job. And if you asked why do I say that, I really don't have an answer. There wasn't anything particularly fantastic about today, but it was just fun to be in school teaching. I'm glad I have far more days that are "nice" than those that are stressful.
In English II we reviewed our 15 vocabulary words. In first hour we had several presentations yet to get through, but then we took our quiz. I didn't see too much "smoke" coming out of their ears, so I hope things went well. We then discussed the outline requirements. Tomorrow the outlines are due, and then there will be time given to rehearse.
In American Government we discussed the six economic function of all governments (regardless if it is an autocratic government, democracy, or confederacy). An assignment was given that highlights the ability that we have to go from rags to riches.
In Literature 9 we took a quiz over the first part of Literature 9. It seemed like things were going o.k. Then we discussed commonly confused words. Hopefully we can finish up "All God's Children Need Traveling Shoes." Slowly we're getting everyone caught up.
Smile!
