I'm sorry I was a little late in my posting. With speech starting, I'm trying to stay caught up, but already I'm behind. Oh well, just hang on to the end of the rope.

In Literature 9, we're finishing up "Lady or the Tiger" - the skills behind reading this classic story. We worked on theme and conflict. We'll finish up this classic story and move onto "Most Dangerous Game".

In English 10 we listened to a few more informative speeches. We also reviewed simple subject/simple predicates. We will be having a quiz tomorrow. I know you'll do great.

American Government was all about the separation of powers. What are the legislative, executive, and judicial branches responsible for? This is the heart of government so we've spent a little time on this concept. Quiz on Wednesday!

This cold is getting old! I'm looking forward to Cancun this February.
