Happy Valentine's Day everyone! Today is all about love, and I hope that regardless of a "relationship," you have a connection and love for family and friends. That's truly what this day is supposed to celebrate.
In Literature 9 it seems there were a few glitches. For whatever reason, the quiz did not pop up as planned. I'm so glad the substitute had you work on your vocabulary lesson instead. We will simply take the quiz tomorrow and flip the expectations for the two days. Thank you for going with the flow.
In English 10, I hope you played a little Kahoot in preparation for your test tomorrow. With the time remaining, you should have begun to research your motivational speech.
In American Government, it was all about judicial review and cases that have literally affected every teenager in the United States. There were a total of ten stations where you were to read the facts and decisions about certain cases. WIth the chart that was distributed, you should have taken notes. Whatever you did not finish, go to Moodle as the article with the cases can be found there. Next Wednesday finish the cases and there is a Curret Events due.
Law class finished up our court case from yesterday. There were jury deliberation and various fair use factors to be thought out. It seems one jury found the company liable (guilty) and the other didn't. Very interesting. After the jury deliberation, then they were to work on the Law Enforcement puzzle that was on the back of their criminal unit plan.
I hope everyone had a great day! Spending it with my husband was awesome, I just wish it wasn't in the hospital.
