Another late start - I don't think I'll ever finish my law curriculum. We're still on Chapter 1!
In Literature 9 both classes were able to meet, so that was great. They took their vocabulary tests, and I can several of them may not have been as prepared as they hoped. We had two days of studying, but some looked at the test like it was the first time they had ever seen the words.
In English 10 only sixth hour met. We corrected our homework that was about direct and indirect objects. They then took an assessment; I need to see where we are with those grammar skills. We then finished our discussion of vocabulary related to mythology. They will have a quiz tomorrow over the words. Finally we started our notes for introductory speeches. We'll finish that up tomorrow, along with some time for research.
American Literature was only a half an hour, but we managed to finish our discussion of The Scarlet Letter. I always like showing a video with it, but the quiz has been slated for Friday for awhile. We might show it later, but that might be the sacrifice to Old Man Winter.
Law didn't meet - again, but hopefully we can get caught up tomorrow.
