All I can think about is the impending snow on Saturday. It's April for heaven's sake! This is seriously affecting my psyche!
In Literature 9 we took our reading check over Chapter 3. For the most part, I feel that there are approximately four people not reading the book. I read aloud every morning at 7:50 AM, and those that are coming in and taking advantage of that are doing very well. I distributed a worksheet over the material of Chapter 2-3, and we got through most of it, but had a few questions to go. Please finish the worksheet and read Chapter 4 tomorrow.
In English 10 we finished Act 1 Scene 1. We defined oxymoron (a contrasting term - jumbo shrimp, baby grand, etc.) We filled out our Act 1 questions (Prologue and Scene 1). We also filled in the definition for shrift - a confession in church- and oxymoron. Read for 10 minutes tomorrow. If you are in seventh hour, you need to listen to the video I sent via email.
In American Government, we discussed Congressional benefits and salaries. We finished our notes. Then I distributed to pairs (no more than three people), ten images that are related to the House of Representatives. Using their notes and the Internet, answer the questions that are posted at the bottom. We will finish this up on Monday and take our quiz over the House of Representatives on Wednesday.
Law was still a review day. We worked on our study guide and then reviewed using my SMART board. Tomorrow will be our test over the criminal unit.
Have a great day everyone!
