I am struggling physically today. I had a horrible migraine last night and was up for most of the night. It's hard to find your "grove" when all you want to do is "groove" right back to bed.
In Literature 9 we watched the second installment of To Kill a Mockingbird. In this installment we see the lunch with Walter, a visit to Helen Robinson's, the shooting of Tim Johnson, and finally the lynch mob. We will continue tomorrow.
In English 10 we finished our Romeo and Juliet final exam. Then we started a very quick unit on punctuation. We need to be reminded of the capitalization, comma, and end punctuation rules. We will work through this as we watch the movie version of this Shakespeare's classic.
In American Literature we discussed the American dream as it relates to Lennie and George. We highlighted an excerpt and then discussed the overall big theme. We had some great discussion. I wonder what we'll think when the book is concluded. We took a reading check over Chapters 3-4.
In Law we're still trying to figure out who murder Martin Lewis. I think I have them baffled!
Have a wonderful Tuesday! Congratulations to the girls' golf team on advancing to Regionals. What a wonderful achievement.
