Today was definitely test day. Several of my classes were taking quizzes or tests today. It keeps me on my toes, but makes the mountains of papers that come in hard to get through.
In Literature 9 we took our unit test on To Kill a Mockingbird. It's a long test, but something that we take eight weeks to get through should be comprehensive. We will finish the last of it up tomorrow, and then we will begin to watch the movie.
In English 10 we reviewed dangling and misplaced phrases. We will complete that tomorrow. We then compared Act I: Scene I with Act III, Scene I. The similarities are striking. After that discussion we took a quick check over the scene. We then continued reading Act III with Juliet discovering the events of the public square.
In American Government it was all about the Cabinet and their role in enforcing the laws passed by Congress. We will finish this up on Monday, and then begin our study of the EOP. We're almost done with the presidency. Things are looking good in American Government.
In Law we took our criminal unit test. No tears, so maybe it was o.k. We're going to begin watching a criminal classic 12 Angry Men.
All in all a good day, and I'm so blessed that I can say that as often as I do!
