The end of this week couldn't come soon enough.
In Literature 9 we started working on our Point of View Workshop. Understanding the perspective of an author, helps the reader to fully understand the story itself. Then we started to create a virtual museum. Using classtools.org/3D we are going to try to create a museum with 10 pictures that summarize the events in the story "Sweet Potato Pie". This is a program that is still in development, so I'm sure there will be bugs in it.
In English 10 we were assigned (randomly) a structure, statue, memorial, etc. that we will give a "tour" of. We reviewed the ethical use of the Internet and how to use Creative Commons. For the weekend, everyone should be researching their location.
In American Literature we started out by discussing who we should "follow" in our novel forums. Then we finished up our discussion of Benjamin Franklin with a "Which is a LIe?" Next on the agenda was finishing our Age of Reason notes, followed up with Benjamin's journal and approach to perfection.
This week has been so stressful - when to have the play, how are we going rehearse, when is all this stuff going to get done!!! In with "Mr. Good-Air" out with "Mr. Bad-Air." Thank you Hailey for teaching me to just keep breathing!
