Today has been just one of those days that you're just excited to be alive and doing what you do. I'm not quite used to this new schedule, but I'm getting there!
In Literature 9 we finished up our discussion of the graphic novel and why it seemed easier to read it than the article/paragraph format. Then we moved on to "A Brother's Crime." We described what a narrative essay is, and then reviewed the vocabulary related to the essay. Finally everyone was put into groups of three and asked to create a timeline of the events described in the narrative.
In English 10 we had some technical issues during first hour (but finally we've got them figured out!), so we didn't get our vocabulary presentations completed. That will have to wait for tomorrow. Then we finished up our notes about persuasion - especially logos. Everyone should be working on researching their topic for the product endorsement.
In American Literature we finished up our notes related to Romantic literature. We discussed the 5 I's and how Romanticism was a part of all arts - music, literature, and visual arts. After a quick Moodle check, we then read the poem "The Highwayman". That Romantic poem should be labeled for Tuesday.
I'm so grateful when I can check off things from my to-do list. And several items are getting done, and that makes me soooo happy. Have a good day!
