Another day, another gray hair.
In Literature 9 we discussed what it was to be an ethical user of Internet images. We discussed Creative Commons and how it's just as easy to use something we know is ethical where if we use Google Images - we're not sure if the image is available for use. Then we went to ClassTools.net/3D to create a virtual museum to accompany our story "Sweet Potato Pie". Fifth hour will have to wait as the Internet was quite the issue today.
In English 10 we have five vocabulary presentations. We need to remember to click and turn to face the audience. We have to remember to keep our hands out of our pockets and to speak to our audience - the entire audience not just half. Then we took notes on the 6C's of communication. We will use that information to construct a tour of an object - Mount Rushmore, the Eiffel Tower, etc.
In American Literature we finished our web for the Age of Reason. We then moved on to discuss our first author - Benjamin Franklin. I presented a power point that will replicate what students must create for their presentation. We discussed his contributions to our country, culture, and literature. As homework, everyone is supposed to work on aphorisms,
All in all - I survived. Who knows what tomorrow brings, but I made it through today! So far...
