I wasn't here today as I was welcoming our newest granddaughter to the world. Tessa Joy was born at 7:44 AM at the chunky weight of 8 pounds 9 ounces. She is beautiful and perfect in every way.

In Literature 9 everyone watched the conclusion of JFK's inaugural speech. Everyone reviewed the acronym Q4E'sRrrr. (Quote someone, enlist the trust of the audience, use evidence, make an emotional appeal, emphasize your claim (delivery). Then they were to find an example of each within the speech.

In English 10 everyone was to work on their panel discussions.

In American Literature I provided a video where everyone was supposed to go through step-by-step the poem "Each and All". For homework, they were to continue to annotate the last two poems.

In Law, they watched a TED talk regarding eyewitness testimony. As a group, they were to work on their experiment.

I hope all went well. By the substitute's notes, it seems like all went well.
