What a beautiful day! I wore a sleeveless shirt and a jacket, and I ditched the jacket by 8:30 AM. Now it's beginning to feel like spring.
In Literature 9 we watched our second full day of the movie (the first day of school, the compromise, the killing of Tim Johnson, and the lynch mob).
In English 10 we continued with our study of parliamentary procedure. We reviewed the five principles (and tried to come up with some memory devices) and the difference between quorum and simple majority. Then we discussed the importance of the chair and types of voting. Tomorrow we will cover what a main motion is and write a few of our own.
In American Literature we finished our presentations on dialect and malapropism. Then we watched a short video on Robert Frost. We only had time to discuss "Stopping in the Woods on a Snowy Evening" in order to assign the Bucket List project (Due Monday, May 23).
In Law we completed our self-evaluation of the crime activity. We then cleaned up our stuff and put it away. Finally we finished our Tort Packet. I really wanted to get a little further than that, but unfortunately I take too long on some units.
I'm excited to go to Sioux Falls and listen to my nephew's pop concert. Have a great Tuesday everyone!
