OK I read that I felt that I had things together, and I laughed. I'm so rattled and disorganized it's not even funny. Tonight is actually the first free night I have had in a long time. Hopefully then I can get through some of these to-do lists and get something accomplished.
In English 10 we began our class period reviewing what is a subject and predicate (chapter 2 in our white grammar books). This should be a review of things, but I realize that a lot of people struggle. We then began our oral presentations. Some of them went really well, but others need to work on vocal variety.
In American Government we returned our first tests. Most of them were o.k., a few that were "ouch", but for the most part I think people should be happy. I still need to review the essay portion. Yet another thing on a to-do list. Then we started to discuss the problems facing our new nation (notes), and then the creation an rules for the Constitutional Convention. Again, more notes.
In Literature 9 we spent most of the class period discussing the text structure of cause and effect, chronological, and problem/solution. Then we review Q4E'sR and applied them to "Put Down Your Backpack". We're going to make a digital poster outlining a quote from her essay. We'll then take the quiz.
