When it's so nice, it's hard not to look out the window with longing. I'm thankful for the three-day weekend.
In Literature 9 we took our check over Chapter 14. We reviewed the ONE word, and began to read together Chapter 15. We will finish up this chapter on Monday, and complete a timeline related to this part of the book.
In English 10 we took a check over the first scene. Then we began to read scenes 2-3. It's always fun to get a variety of students up front to read and act things out. Everyone should be working on The Perfect Mate assignment.
In American Literature we finished up Mark Twain (finally). I'm going to have to pick up the pace in this class. We have a lot to cover and not much time to do it. We took our quiz. We'll move onto realism and Stephan Crane on Tuesday.
In Law we finished our discussion of 48 Hours (Blaming Melissa). It's a difficult story to watch, because most of us think she deserves an appeal, but it's not happening. We started our criminal unit, but will get into full swing on Monday.
Have a great weekend everyone.
