Today was a race...a race to keep my sanity. So many obligations and responsibilities, and I'm not sure how I'm going to fulfill any one of them. I guess I just need to take them one at a time.
In Literature 9 we discussed the importance of finishing strong this week. I will be collecting notebooks as well as there is a semester final over the four stories we've read. We then wrapped-up our Perseverance Project by writing our thoughts and reflections. In second hour we finished the last of the point of view workshop, but we still need to get that done during fifth hour. We did review in both classes the triggers that sent Walter Mitty into his daydreams. For tomorrow we're going to finish up our discussion of diction and dialect. Then we will take our quiz over those two stories.
In English 10 it was so chaotic because I wasn't here on Friday. First everyone should have their outline uploaded to Moodle. I ran off those that were turned in. We then took down page numbers for our books, and that will more than likely be our pattern while we're giving speeches. I think the chances of us getting our vocabulary test in before the quarter break - pretty slim. However, we will get in our Big Three test (of course, that will depend on the weather.) Each class had three speakers present. Let's hope we get four to five in tomorrow and Wednesday. I'm really nervous about the weather.
In American Government, we will have class on Friday. We discussed the Federalists and Anti-Federalists and who they were and their impact on the ratification. We have five people who haven't started their Constitution test, but I did see most of them today during eighth hour. I still haven't seen one person. We will finish up our discussion of the Founding Father's vision, and then on Friday take our test. Let's hope the weather cooperates.
Have a great Monday everyone!
