Friday the 13th AND a full moon. I hope the police departments put extra people on patrol. It's been quiet in school today as so many students are gone for the Sociology field trip. I hope they had fun.
In Literature 9 we basically just finished our test. It was a long one, and I've looked at it numerous years, but it's a good test. We'll start watching the video on Monday. That should make for a relaxing end of the year.
In English 10 we finished Romeo and Juliet. Everyone is shocked at this interpretation of time. Seeing Juliet actually wake up, but Romeo not seeing or hearing her before taking the poison is a wonderful change without it being a change. I like it!
In American Government those that were in school took their legislative branch test. I also distributed the cumulative final study guide. We discussed two great stories that were on CBS This Morning - President Obama's executive order concerning Title IX and transgender use of bathrooms and the CBS focus group on women and this upcoming election. It was really interesting!
In Law both teams finally saw the surveillance footage. I think they might be putting two and two together, but I'm not sure. It is fun to watch their wheels spin!
Have a great weekend - even though it's supposed to be cold!
