Another week has flown by, and we're heading into the weekend. There were some amazing things going on here, and I'm proud of how hard everyone has worked this first quarter.

In Literature 9 it was a pretty quiet classroom. Everyone was concentrating so hard on their unit test. I didn't see too much stress in the body language I observed, so I'm thinking a lot of people were prepared.

In English 10 it was all about propaganda. We watched a few ads from last year's election, and then we conducted a gallery walk of various propaganda techniques. We will finish that up and take our unit test next week.

In American Government we reviewed the various types of governments, took our quiz, and began a more focused look at democracy. We started with discussing the characteristics of democracy. We'll finish that discussion up next week, and then take our unit test on Wednesday.

It's looking a lot like testing next week, but that is what happens when the quarter ends. Hard to believe that the first quarter is nearly over. Have a great weekend everyone. It looks like the weather is supposed to be awesome!
