Today is a day that will live in infamy. Today is the 74th anniversary of the bombing at Pearl Harbor. Although not a lot happened today, every day should be a day that lives in infamy.
In Literature 9 we spent a lot of time talking to each other about our short story unit. We discussed characters, conflict, themes, and setting. All this was done to prepare for tomorrow's unit test.
In English 10 we reviewed how to make a bibliography. We then discussed how to make a thesis statement parallel. Tomorrow everyone has to have the main points written and parallel. If everyone meets the minimum expectations, we won't start speeches until Monday. If we struggle with people not doing their homework, speeches begin on Thursday.
In American Government it was all about the preamble. We listened to Schoolhouse Rock, we analyzed it's importance, and finally we took a quiz reflecting our memorization. Then we started to discuss the six tenets of our Constitution. These six characteristics, along with a few additional clarifications, are the reason our country's Constitution has last 250+ years.
Have a great Monday everyone!
