Sorry, but with the holidays, midterms, and speech practices, things kind of got away from me. Let's see how well my memory is.
In Literature 9 we played a little Kahoot to review our stories. Everyone seems to enjoy this on-line review game. We got both classes on the same page when it comes to vocabulary for "The Necklace." We'll finish up "Son from America" next week and then take our unit test.
In English 10 we discussed introductions, conclusions, and transitions. Everyone should be working on their outline for their demonstration speeches. Hopefully we'll be able to get those completed and also an informative speech done before Christmas.
In American Literature we took a Rhetorical Devices Quiz. I don't know, but the body language told me people were struggling. I guess I'll know more when I correct them. Everyone gets a break from reading. Maybe that will help everyone get to the point where they are caught up.
In American Government we tried to get everyone with the same information. Third hour played Kahoot, while fourth hour received the information related to the symbols found on our money. Now that everyone has the same information we should be ready to take our test on Monday.
I hope everyone had a blessed Thanksgiving. I know that I feel blessed beyond measure.
