I guess the one thing that is on my mind today is that in one month my middle daughter gets married. I know I should have something "academic" and "schooly" to say, but that is really what's been at the front of my mind the most.
English II students had a work day. They worked on their power points, outlines, and/or rehearsing their speeches. I know that we're going to see some truly great presentations tomorrow and next week.
In American Literature I think (and please don't tell me I'm wrong), we're enjoying (and rather repulsed) by The Crucible. It truly is mind boggling how competent, intelligent people got so caught up in the awfulness of this hysteria.
In Literature 9 we're almost on the same page. We discussed our commonly confused words, took an on-line check. We then discussed the structure of problem/solution. Both classes are now on the same page, but of course, something's going to come along and mess that up.
Hope your Thursday was remarkable. Every day we're here is a good day!
