This week is just crazy. It's hard to remember where each class is - some are ahead, others are behind...I can't wait for some stability.
In Literature 9 we discussed the summarizing project for To Kill a Mockingbird. We also outlined the rules for the vocabulary. If everyone does their vocabulary - no quizzes or worksheets. The first time 10% or more does NOT complete their vocabulary, we will have a quiz. We took notes on the historical background of the novel. We'll finish this up on Monday.
In English 10 we're still discussing motions (main and subsidiary). We will be conducting a business meeting on school calendars (and also the school days). Everyone should also be researching how to make less of an ecological footprint. Open a Google document and share it with me.
In American Literature we're still trying to finish Moby Dick. We discussed the allusions for Ishmael, Ahab, the ship Rachel, etc. We also discussed how obsession for money and pride came into play in this book.
In Law we took our first test over Chapter 1. I didn't see to much smoke coming out of their ears, so I think it went o.k., but who knows. They were then assigned reading Chapter 4-1.
See you all tomorrow - for a half of a day!
