Still on diaper patrol, but I'm sure things are going well.
In Literature 9 we finished our discussion of the vocabulary for Chapters 16-20. We reviewed idioms with a worksheet. Then everyone was given an adjective list. Using the vocabulary from Chapters 11-15 and Chapters 16-20, match appropriate vocabulary to the proper character. For tomorrow (Wednesday) read Tom Robinson's response to the accusations of the Ewell's.
In English 10 everyone should have turned in their subject/verb agreement assignment. A few minutes were set aside to review Act III, and then it was time for the Quiz. Read Act IV, Scene 1 and fill out the study guide. We will quickly finish Act IV. It's a quick scene.
In American Literature everyone worked on Walt Whitman. Pairs took turns reading "Song of Myself" and filling out the worksheet. Unfortunately they didn't get to the poems listed on the back, so we'll finish that up later this week. Then we'll take a test over the three poets - Poe, Dickinson, and Whitman.
In Law they still were watching 12 Angry Men.
See you tomorrow!
