It's beginning to look a lot like...nope, not going to do it! It's snowing, and I'm horrified. I hope that I don't have issues with dress rehearsals, much less the performance itself.
In Literature 9 (8th Hour) we finished our notes on the play "Red Carnations". Then we took time to work on our vocabulary lesson. The only homework is looking up the words for the next play "The Hitchhiker."
In English 10 (6th Hour) we finished our vocabulary presentations. We need to work on looking at the audience and not the screen. We also should work on our power points as our fonts are often very small with difficult colors to read. We then had about 20 minutes to work on the body of our speech. Writing our speeches out like a composition is simply showing off our writing skills and not necessarily our speaking skills.
In American Literature (4th Hour) we discussed AGAIN the perimeters for the novel project. Also there was some discussion, o.k. more lecture/yelling by me, about minimum number of pages. Two pages, four pages isn't a reflection of adequate reading. This will not get credit for a week's worth of reading. We then started our discussion on the Preamble of the Declaration of Independence. We will have a vocabulary activity on Friday, so be sure all your notes are completed.
All my classes will be taking the final ITED test on Thursday. This week is almost a bust, what with ITED's and the matinee on Friday afternoon. I guess it is what it is! Have a good Tuesday. Bundle up and stay warm.
