Well, March Madness at G-LR came to a close with our dress-up day. Despite that many people did not dress up, it didn't dampen my appreciation for all the participation.
In Literature 9 we finished our discussion of Dolphus Raymond and the controversy surrounding the conversation between Scout, Dill and Jem about his "mixed" children. Then we read as much of Chapter 17 as we could get in. For Monday finish Chapter 17 and get Chapter 18 read.
In English 10 we finished the worksheet on Gerunds (the reverse side of other worksheet). Then we reviewed the terms of Act I and the events of Act I. Our quiz will be on Monday.
In American Government we started our discussion of the Electoral College. I also distributed a project called "Running a Campaign". Each group has several weeks to work on the project. Following the directions is paramount. Each member should be working independently as well as completing the group requirements. This project is worth 100+ points. Please take it seriously and put the required effort.
In Law we continued with our criminal packet. We will (hopefully) finish it before the Easter break.
