OK, so yesterday I felt like things were rolling in the right directions - my ducks were in a row...today, someone shot my ducks! I just basically jumped from one activity to another, never really finishing or accomplishing anything. I just want to pull the covers over my head and sleep.
In English 10 we finished up our discussion of vocabulary. I planned to have the test tomorrow, but I'm not sure we'll get that far. It just might have to wait until Monday. We did get through quite a few speeches. I'm enjoying the speeches about products. I hope it's helping everyone to understand the components of persuasion.
In American Literature we started our discussion of The Scarlet Letter. We had some good presentations of Nathaniel Hawthorne. Everyone needs to remember that this project is worth quite a few points. Remember to double check the requirements and really put some effort into this project. We read the first portion of the novel, and we'll continue tomorrow.
In Literature 9 we took our Point of View Workshop Quiz. We finished our vocabulary in 7th hour. Time was given to read the rest of the story.
In Law time was given to work on a power point that reflects the evolution of law. Since we don't have class tomorrow (early out), everyone was asked to read Chapter 1-2.
Have a great Thursday. Hopefully I can resurrect those ducks and put them back in order!
