I'm sorry as this blog might be incomplete as I wasn't in school during the afternoon, so I'm completely clueless as to what happened in 5th-7th hours. I'm going to simply have to guess.
In Literature 9 we reviewed the vocabulary words for "A Brother's Crime". We also took the reading check for the historical narrative. I found an interesting clip from the Smithsonian about the assassination of Lincoln.
In English 10 we were supposed to take notes on Persuasive Speaking and review adverbial phrases. I have a feeling that everyone got a study hall today, so we're going to see where we're at when I return.
In American Literature, the one class I made it through, we took our reading check over the Pledge of Allegiance and the Star Spangled Banner. We then discussed the history over these two pieces of literature. On Tuesday of next week everyone will recite or write the words to our national anthem. Also we're going to start our study of the Declaration of Independence.
In Law we studied three of the words related to Legal Vocabulary. We also started the study of our first section - common vs. positive law.
I'm feeling a little better, but I'm not sure whether I will return tomorrow. It's a wait and see at this point. I hope everyone else has a good day!
