Welcome back! I hope everyone had a great weekend. Mine was busy and flew by, but I'm ready and happy for a new week.
In Literature 9 we finished the skills portion of our tests. We had to make a few modifications as it was difficult for me to figure out what some answers were because of some highlighting, but I think we have it figured out. I introduced a movie poster project. With this project everyone is to choose a favorite short story from this unit, then using the posters that hang in my room, replicate it with the information from the short story. We set up the margins in a Word document, so we should be ready to go. This project is due on Thursday. In the mean time, I distributed a study guide for the vocabulary unit. We're going to first filter out the words we know and focus only on those we're struggling with. Tomorrow will be a review day.
In English 10 we reviewed the elements of propaganda. We reviewed the stations exercise and then were divided into teams of five. This team will review propaganda in our Padlet and also the main concepts in our notes. Test will be on Wednesday.
In American Government we reviewed the democratic principles. We almost reviewed all of the information regarding "Are we democratic?" This is actually the essay question; using the paper and also individual research. Our test is on Wednesday, so hopefully people will work with the study guide and really focus on studying.
Have a great Monday, and I'll see you tomorrow.
