Today I had to scoot out early today, but not before we had a great day together.
All classes cleaned up our G-Drive, learned to pin things for Windows 10, and made our g-drive available at home. Most found these three skills very useful.
In Literature 9 we reviewed three of the vocabulary words from "Lady or the Tiger?" We then discussed the premise of the story - a barbaric king who set up a system of justice that really relied on fate and not justice. At the end of class we took some of that justice and played our own version of "The Lady or the Tiger."
In English 10 we read an article about a blackout in New York that forced people to have meaningful conversations. We shared the number of conversations we had in a 24 hour period. We then took our reading probe. Finally we ended with a few rounds of charades.
In American Literature we introduced the Mayflower Project. The requirements and suggestions are on a Google doc shared with the Junior class. Everyone is supposed to have their project idea and group members selected for Friday.
Such a busy day - we accomplished a lot today!
