Senior's last day? Really? And thanks Ross for the prank. It made me feel special. I'm just glad it wasn't all the balloons. That took a lot of hot air!
In Literature 9, we discussed the importance of foreshadowing in Chapter 27. I pointed out that chapter 25 was all about symbols (most insect symbols), Chapter 26 was about irony (Hitler, the Mrnuas of Africa), and this chapter was about foreshadowing - Judge Taylor, Helen Robinson, and Bob Ewell. We took our check, reviewed the vocabulary, and completed the questions. For tomorrow, read chapter 28 and complete the final three vocabulary words.
In English 10, we spent the entire class period discussing the themes, motifs, and symbols in Romeo and Juliet. Our test is tomorrow. I sent everyone a quizlet to help study.
In American Literature we watched the first act of Our Town. We will discuss the themes and issues behind Act 1 tomorrow. Everyone was to turn in their notebook.
In Law, we watched our 4x800 take fourth in the state. What a wonderful achievement! Then the two teams combined to try and figure out the murder. I stumped them again. So fun!!!
Have a wonderful day and continued good luck to the athletes down at the State Track Meet.
