Almost the weekend! I have to admit I'm glad. It seems like it's been a long week.

In Literature 9 we conquered another text structure - comparison and contrast and problem/solution. We then tried to tackle the homophones lay/lie. It can be a tough call. We will be taking a test over the 30 vocabulary words on Tuesday.

In English 10 we reviewed the vocabulary. We will be having a test tomorrow. We then compared our markings with that of a professional interpreter. Students were supposed to upload their scripts to Moodle. Hopefully we'll get to that assignment on Tuesday.

In American Lit.we (almost) saw the rest of The Crucible. Many were quite upset at the ending. Too bad the story itself is true. Tomorrow we will take a test and move on to the next unit.
