The last day of November. That's just crazy!
We're kind of in the middle of two stories right now in Literature 9. We finished up our characterization workshop talking about Scrooge, Maudie, and a negative character that lacks chivalry. We then discussed "A Dream Deferred" and if Charlie lived with regrets. Most of us don't think so that he just traded one dream for another. For tomorrow look up the vocabulary words for "The Scarlet Ibis."
English 10 is all about the personal narratives. We did have one book talk during 7th hour, but we have to spend the class period presenting speeches. So every day, be sure that you're reading for your ten minutes. At this point, the following worksheets should be completed: Commas dealing with Direct Addresses and Exercise 5 with your parallelism worksheet. My hope is that we would finish the speeches tomorrow, but it will be close.
American Literature took ASVABs today, so we're going to meet tomorrow instead of having seniors. Government students please report to Mr. Judge.
Have a great Thursday everyone! Good luck to the wrestlers.
