This week has been a blur. We had a lot of tests, notebooks, and projects come in. The pile of correcting is mammoth! I hope we can get it all done.

In Literature 9 we took a gallery walk and reviewed all the movie posters. They were awesome! There are some truly creative students in that class. Then we compared and contrasted Saki and O. Henry. We created a Venn diagram on the reverse side of our Story Detective. Read the story "Gift of the Magi" for tomorrow.

In English 10 we discovered that most received their first choices of Mayflower passengers. I'm glad that everyone got who they wanted. Then we finished our Art of Communication test.

In American Literature we talked about primary documents and the Salem Witch Trials. This project is due after we finish the movie. We then finished watching Act I (where Tituba and the girls start accusing people). The irony of believing kids and never questioning their intentions is crazy!
