With the weather so nice and the sun pouring in through the windows, it's hard to imagine Christmas is right around the corner. But the gifts in the corner of my classroom and the many cards in my mailbox, tell me otherwise. Thank you so much for those that remembered me with gifts and cards. It is truly appreciated.
In Literature 9 we spent the entire class period watching the BBC's version of the "Red-Headed League." It was remarkable how similar it was to the story we read - right down to the dialogue. The only addition was Professor Moriarty. Loved the version.
In English 10 everyone, I think, appreciated the work day for demonstration speeches, notebooks, and/or essays. Thanks for using the time wisely.
In American Literature we took our Rhetorical Devices Test. By the body language, I think the test was tough. I appeared like everyone was concentrating hard and trying to do their best.
Have a great holiday break! Enjoy your families, eat too much, and laugh often.
