Today is all about the creation of book ball. It was frustrating for me as an educator to give students a lot of time to work on something, but everyone waiting until the last minute to do it. I guess at times I'm guilty of this at times as well, but it was widespread.
In Literature 9 - work on your book ball. No complaining, no whining as I sent an email telling everyone that you would only receive one day to complete this.
In English 10, we finished whatever speeches needed to be completed. The rest of the time was spent working on the book ball.
In American Government, we first reviewed the Bill of Rights Worksheet scenarios, along with the fill-in-the-blanks on the reverse side. Then I distributed the requirements for the one-pager on Constitutional amendments. Everyone is supposed to choose an amendment and complete a graphic design for it. One-pager due on Friday. Also, don't forget to submit your current events!
In Law, we started to discuss criminal procedure. Most of the class period was spent discussing reasonable suspicion versus probable cause. We started with our role-playing activity of Terry, Pat, Vendor Bob, and the cop. We will continue to create a defense tomorrow. Don't forget to read your next installment of the Murder Mystery.
Have a great Wednesday!
