Today I am just in a funk. Several personal challenges have just zapped me. I know that with a short nap (not going to happen), things would be better, but I don't think it's in the cards for me today.
In Literature 9, we're trying so hard to finish "Cask of the Amontillado". We will have to work on mood and tone on Tuesday. I'm determined to get the test in next week. I already forsee chopping a few stories from the next unit. Yikes! For homework, complete the story detective. Remember we don't have class on Monday as we're doing to Camp Foster.
English 10 did not have class today due to the early out.
In American Government, we spent a few minutes reviewing for the unit test. I tried to straighten out the confusion over democracy - the qualities and the soil necessary for it to grow. We then reviewed the four qualities of a state, the four theories of how a state is born, the four (there's a pattern here) purposes of government, and also the differences between developed, developing, and underdeveloped nations. Then everyone took their test. I saw some finish very quickly, while others took their time. I hope that most ended their quarter on a good note.
Have a great weekend everyone. Congratulations to the GLR Cross Country team for placing first in the district and advancing to state. Way to run!!!
