Oh, the weather outside is frightful, but the fire is so delightful, and since we've no place to go...let it snow, let it snow, let it snow. It's true - no nighttime practices, so you really don't have anywhere to go.
In Literature 9 we took our skills test over our Rewards and Sacrifices Unit. We will need to finish it tomorrow. Many had to finish the reading portion. For tomorrow, those that need to present a book talk should have all their paperwork completed, so the presentations go smoothly.
In English 10 we finished up our informative speeches. Most did so well, but as we head into prepared speeches, everyone needs to recognize the importance of preparation. We had a chance to finish a few book talks, and in sixth hour we even managed to finish our vocabulary presentations. Tomorrow we're going to tackle our Big Three test. Unfortunately, we'll finish our vocabulary after Christmas. I was hoping to get everything in, but no such luck.
American Literature was all about the book talk. In fact other than reading for 10 minutes and book talk presentations, we didn't get much Declaration of Independence in. Oh well, something to look forward to.
Stay safe everyone!
