I'm definitely driving the struggle bus today. I can't seem to find any energy OR get anything done.
In Literature 9 we shared our illustrations from the first eight chapters of To Kill a Mockingbird. Then the class was given time to read Chapter 9 and finish the vocabulary. The second topic area has been introduced - the trial of Tom Robinson.
In English 10 it's participle time! I don't know what it is about participles, but they are little demons. We then tried to get through our Elizabethan Era notes, but will have a little to finish tomorrow.
In American Government, it was one of the most fun we've had. We completed a mock simulation for a bill sponsored to install a ignition stopper in cares for DUI first offenders. I thought everyone did a great job. It was wonderful to see people dress up so they could "fit the part". It made it all the more fun.
In Law we finished up discussing famous cases of the USSC. A little time was given to work on the Section Review, but we'll take a little time during tomorrow's class period to finish it up.
Happy Monday!
