I guess I have the warmest room in the school. I'm getting a little frustrated with the construction noise. It's giving me a headache.
In Literature 9 it's really about getting both sections on the same page. During first hour we discussed tone of voice (which we got to yesterday in eighth period). We will discuss Chapters 25-26 tomorrow. During eighth hour we'll finish the tone of voice activity and review the vocabulary. Everyone should read Chapter 27 for tomorrow - remember that the check is over the three chapters.
In English 10 we finished reading the tale of woe (Juliet and her Romeo). We then finished up our timeline. We also discussed the essay questions which is explaining the prologue couplet by couplet. We will finish up the themes and impact tomorrow with the test on Friday.
In American Government we discussed the power of the Congressional staff - the personal staff and the committee staff. Then we took 15 minutes of class and discussed current events, and a lot has been happening. Both Ted Cruz and Kasich dropped out of the presidential race. That leaves Donald Trump. I think Montreal is looking very good right now!
In Law we started class by a search of frivolous lawsuits. What a hoot! We then started to discuss the difference between a tort and a contract. We took a look at the agreement we sign when we set up an email account. What are the terms of service? What do they provide? What is the customer expected to provide? All in all an enjoyable class.
It's only Wednesday people, but the end of the week is in sight!
