So many of us are excited to see the show "War Horse" tonight. Many are dressed up and ready to go to the theater! We have such good seats, and I know we're going to have an amazing time!
In Literature 9 we again reviewed the authors' purposes. We then reviewed the vocabulary words related to the autobiography Black Boy. We then took notes over memoirs, biography, and autobiography. We introduced the story of Richard Wright.
In English 10 we reviewed subject pronouns (I, she, he, we, they, you, and it). Tomorrow we will have a quick assessment over these pronouns. Then we finished up our vocabulary presentations. Tomorrow those that are "doubles" or haven't gone will present. We tried to finish our notes on Blocks to Listening and the Purposes for Listening, but time got away from us. The homework is a little complicated so read the directions carefully.
In American Lit, it was all about vocabulary. You turned in your vocabulary lessons and then completed an open-book quiz. We tried to talk a little about the Great Awakening, but again time just slipped by. Remember to go to Moodle to read the notes on Puritan legacies.
American Literature and American Government students: Don't forget to get those postings completed!!!
