A half day of school, a trip to Ames, and lots of things to get done for next week's tournament. I hope I can manage to stay sane for at least a little while longer.
In Literature 9 (first hour) the students took their vocabulary test. After that there wasn't much time to start something new.
In English 10 everyone had time to work on their partner speech.
In American Government we started our discussion of the election process. We spent most of the class period discussing current events. I'm surprised at what everyone finds to share. There are some crazy mixed up people out there! We will be substituting the handout I distributed for Chapter 8-2 notes. Everyone should still read the section for the advantages and disadvantages of the Electoral College, but otherwise we're going to focus on the Electoral College Packet.
Law- no class because of an early out.
