Friday was an early out, and that probably was the reason I forgot to post. Sorry about that!
In Literature 9 we worked in small groups to create a mystery box for Mr. Shimada. We needed to look at items that would fit into a box; therefore, you can't put an entire dry goods store in a box. And why would you put a "cracker" in there to represent a dry goods store as they had lots of other products? In other words, think about how you can go deeper in your box selections. This is due for Monday and will serve as your reading check.
In American Literature we finished watching Act I of The Crucible. We discussed the hysteria that began because of the girls. For Tuesday we will watch Act II and see the role the girls played in their accusations of others. Everyone is supposed to have their research completed on the "Star Spangled Banner".
In Law, we discussed the role the district courts play in our federal court system. They are trial courts with general jurisdiction. We had a packet, but we really didn't get to it.
Have a great weekend everyone! Good luck to the wrestlers as they go for their conference championship!
