This Monday has been quite the challenge!
Literature 9 was an on-again off-again class. Eighth hour only met for a little while due to Homecoming practice and a class ring presentation. I swear my lesson plans can't survive for even one day! For those in fifth hour, we discussed characterization - how a character looks, acts, speaks, and what others say about her. We then tried to finish up "The Leap," but not with a lot of success.
In English 10 we reviewed complements. We're hoping to practice subject complements this week. We then went on to review the first five words in the Mythology Lesson. Finally we worked on our persuasive notes. Our agenda for this week is: quiz on Thursday over Persuasive Notes and a vocabulary test on Friday.
In American Government we reviewed reapportionment, redistricting, and gerrymandering. We then played the game at www.redistrictinggame.com. Please play Mission 1 (basic) and Mission 2 (partisan gerrymandering). It is important that you complete the worksheet that covers 5-1 reading.
In Law we finished our discussion of section 1. We will work on the Section Review in class tomorrow.
