Wow, today went by quickly. It seemed like we were discussing Romeo and Juliet in first period, and all of a sudden it was eighth period. I guess time goes fast when you're enjoying yourself.
In Literature 9 we discussed the moral development of the characters. We had some lively and interesting conversation. Then we reviewed the use of humor, symbols and conflict in the novel. I think everyone is definitely ready for tomorrow's test.
In English 10 the beginning of the class was introducing and working with misplaced and dangling phrases. Always a hard concept, we'll take things slowly so people can figure out what to do. Then we finished Act III, Scene 1 and the death of Tybalt and the banishment of Romeo. "I am fortune's fool." Are you really or are you the product of your own choices? Ah Romeo, you make us think!
In American Literature it was all about the unit test over Great American classics. I think things went o.k, they made me think things went o.k, but I guess I'll find out as I begin to grade the papers. Now it's onto Great American poetry and drama.
In Law we spent most of the class period working on our study guide. We then started to review the key concepts studied in the criminal unit. I feel like I've been a little more disorganized, so I'm definitely going to look over the test to be sure it assesses what we covered.
Have a great day, and I'll see you tomorrow!
