After a crazy day, I finally have a few minutes to write down today's agendas.
In Literature 9 we were introduced to "Into Thin Air." This 1996 Everest Disaster is a great story to monitor our reading comprehension. We will continue to work with this story tomorrow.
In English 10 we first organized our notebooks. Then we reviewed direct objects (action verbs, etc.). Finally we only had a few minutes to give a few speeches. In fifth hour they took their mythology test. Second hour will have to do that tomorrow. Slowly we will get caught up for our two days without classes.
In Government class papers were returned, grades updated, and current events discussed. We took a check over Chapter 8-1. People could use their notes, but this was solely to get people to read the section. These will be happening much more often. Finally we're going to compare presidential candidates with the delegated responsibilities of the presidency. Does one candidate stand out?
In Law we played our BINGO games. Then we took our quiz - open note. Tomorrow we will review our material and then take our test on Friday.
Busy day...crazy day. Hope all are well.
