You can feel an energy in the high school for STEM day tomorrow. I'm excited to see the older kids helping the younger ones. This is a great opportunity for them to demonstrate their positive leadership skills.
In English 10 we're still presenting our literature. I'm struggling to see performers really step outside the box and give that one outstanding performance. I think we're still struggling with what others think.
In American Literature we finished with good ole' Benjamin Franklin. What an amazing man he was! These early leaders were such examples to us today. They really believed what they fought for and truly looked beyond themselves. Looking back is really about looking forward. They have a lot to teach us. Get those photo projects done! I'm excited to see them.
In Literature 9 we worked on finishing our project on persuasion. We saw what a renaissance woman Anna Quindlen is. We talked a little about evaluating evidence, but it was kind of a rush. Those that will be gone tomorrow will need to take a quiz on-line. Hopefully that will go well.
Have a great weekend. I don't think I'll see many of you tomorrow.
