A wet and rainy day! I just can't seem to get warm today.

In Literature 9 we reviewed the time Scout and Dill spent outside the courtroom along with Atticus's closing arguments. We took our check over Chapter 20. Together we read Chapter 21 and discovered the verdict. I always hope that somehow somewhere gnomes run in and change all the copies of the book. Tomorrow we're going to take our quiz over the events of Monday. (Chapters 16-21 really only cover one day's events!)

In English 10 we reviewed the information from Act III, Scene 2. We looked at the oxymorons and juxtaposition in Juliet's soliloquy. Then we began reading Scene 3. Because I missed seventh hour, I'm not sure how far that period got, but we'll catch everyone up tomorrow. Everyone should work on their dangling and misplaced worksheet for tomorrow [front side]. There are eight misspelled words to locate as well.

In American Literature we discussed the "Pit and the Pendulum". We watched a creepy rap by Flocabulary that cemented all the events of the story. We discussed stream of consciousness and single effect. For Thursday everyone is to read "Annabel Lee" and "The Raven".

In Law we finished our review of the Criminal Unit. We went through the SMART board and filled out our study guide.
