Today was supposed to be rainy; I put my dog in the garage because of the forecast. Not a drop. It was cloudy, but that was all. Poor Kiwi!
In Literature 9 we finished our discussion (quickly), and everyone took their Chapter 22-end of book quiz. It covered the material at the end of the book along with some of the information we shared and discussed the past two days. It took awhile, so I need to remember to set enough time aside to complete (30 minutes).
In English 10 we read the rest of the play (we picked up after Romeo died). We discussed the details that Friar Lawrence, Balthazar, and the page provided. We looked over our notebook as tomorrow we will be reviewing for our test. Unfortunately our test will be on Monday because of the early out on Friday. Hopefully with enough review materials, everyone will be able to handle a Monday test.
In American Government we had our final debate day. We finished our discussion of House related items, and then we switched to the Senate side. I drew a card of the Nationalist to determine the President pro Tempore (the Senator with the longest service). We then debated the other classes' bill. Since we were the Senate, there were no rules or time limits. Consequently we only debated one bill in each class. Only one bill as of right now will go to the President's desk. I think that through this process we have learned that "making a law" is not as easy as one would think. We will finish our discussion of the President on Friday, review on Monday, and wind things up on Wednesday. That's just crazy.
In Law we reviewed intentional, negligent, and strict liability torts. We played a little BINGO, reviewed our section reviews, and then took our quiz. Tomorrow will be the start of the crime scene. I'm excited as I hope they are as well.
I hope everyone has a great day. It's getting to the end!!!!
