What a day! Nice weather creates some weird animals!!

In Literature 9 we had sooo much fun playing Amazing Race. We literally ran through the school finding and solving clues. We walked through the auditorium with a spoon and a ping pong ball on it. We completed tanagrams, map puzzles, maps with flags, - we just had a lot of fun.

In English 10 we discussed the components of the conclusion (summary [thesis], tie it back to the introduction, and end with a zinger). Then I shared the perimeters of the note cards. The rest of the class period was for research and work.

In American Lit we finished our vocabulary lesson. Then we all recited individually the Pledge of Allegiance. Finally I presented information on Thomas Jefferson. We will finish up our discussion of the Declaration of Independence on Tuesday with our unit test on Thursday.

O Happy Day....O happy day...O happy day...That song is now stuck in my head!
