I felt like such a Scrooge today. I didn't plan anything fun for my classes. Next year, I'm going to do better. I found a fun activity - Do you want to build a snowman? - but we had tests to take or finish. I'm a little bummed with myself!
In Literature 9 we finished our skills test and then had the last of our book talks. Some of them obviously weren't done with their book or could tell us very little about their books. I was quite disappointed with a few of them.
In English 10 we took our Big Three test - capitalization, end punctuation, and commas. Most seemed pretty confident with their skills. Again we had some last minute book talks. Next semester we won't have book talks but book balls and literature circles. I think that some may fall through the cracks, but I want to be able to change things up a bit.
In American Government, everyone handed in their notebook, and then they all took their final exam - Our Founding Father's Vision. Some people finished very quickly, so I hope that's an indication they were comfortable with the material.
Merry Christmas everyone! I hope your holiday is one to remember!
