I know that I blogged this information yesterday, but heaven knows where it ended up in cyber-world. So here we go again.
In Literature 9 we spent most of the class period reviewing for our test. We looked over our lists moving them from one column to the next (words we know, words we're unsure, words we don't have a clue on). Then we completed a few SMART board activities. Our Vocabulary Unit test is tomorrow. The Book Cover Project is due on Thursday.
In English 10 we're still finishing our personal experience speeches. It's so good to see how well everyone is doing. People are making time and telling some wonderful experiences. We're still working on our subject and predicates (in inverted sentences, questions, and imperatives). Complete the reverse side of a worksheet given out in class.
In American Literature we reviewed our vocabulary for 10 minutes (with our teams) and then we took a vocabulary test. Then we moved onto taking notes on the Age of Reason. We will be working with the information from this time period for the next few weeks.
This week is a little overwhelming, but I teach such amazing people that I know that I will make it through!
